So it goes that work consumes, and in being the perfectionist, in-world pictures just weren’t expressing themselves as I hoped. As the world of SL continues to turn, The Fantasy Collective has once more opened the realm’s maw to bring us a world of Pirates! While the swashbuckler life isn’t exactly my favourite cup o’ tea, all the designers involved have made them quite the stylish folk. Featured is the lovely Pirate Jacket in Red from Peqe, as well as Olive‘s beautiful headband hair called Marina in Tangled Candies. ||The times were beginning to change once more, and so it was that an adaptation was quite necessary; lest she become a victim again. The Red Witch had been informed of a shrouding danger that could cost her a last breath, by none other than her companion. New in her life as he was, but wise was the wayward cleric who sought to ensure her security; a pang in her chest making her realize that his was to be held dear as well. Night after night, fire was spun alongside herbs while she awaited the physical return of contract men sent to get tid bits of information. While some never returned, this did not deter her want in having the advantage. Even while nested in the Kassau home of her family, such did not ensure safekeep – so eyes remained locked on the sea and the walls in observation.||
In my time of work and minimal free time Spring has sprung across the grid of SL (though the same can’t be said for RL -CUE RANDOM SNOWSTORM-). The anticipation for the new round of the Fantasy Gacha Carnival is definitely in the air. Featured is a couple of the lovely, if not must-haves from [BlackPearls] dubbed ‘The Fallen‘. The Fallen Collar is the Ultra Rare Item, which includes the Complete Outfit (essentially all the rares and all the commons!). As it is known, I love accessories and these absolutely do the trick, as they can be donned to compliment any dark ensemble you wish to have. Next up is that the Spring round of The Season’s Story has begun with quite a variety of skins (such as .Birdy.’s Limited Edition Kayla skin featured above!), clothing (for women and men!), hair, decor, and then some all to bring you out of the chill of winter. Shown is VinCue’s maxi dress, in which is casual but can be dressed up for any genre. Last, but not least is the Cosmetic Fair, where I gathered up a brand new Moon hair, this unique lipstain from NOX., and vibrant eyebrows from [okkbye]. This brand new event of course bears the theme in honor of Game of Thrones, a series that keeps us anticipating for more, if not ragequitting when our favourite character dies. As promised is a post that I am sure some have looked forward to. This side quest dabbles into the realm of Vocaloid, a program I hope to soon own and collaborate with several other artists. So, with vacation time and the sudden bout of sickness finally settling down, I can feature more beauties from the reveal of The Secret Affair, with its spotlight and opening event being Game of Thrones. ||These days that melt into night – mesh within their memories of time’s passage. As the Thassa swallows the Central Fire this day, the Red Witch found her mind waging war upon blessed body. It was the evening haze which always brought with it phantoms of haunting thought; for reflection of life was unfortunately a human flaw. She pondered on how the underground had become stable for the most part; although an eerie quiet was cast over trade routes. Imports and exports transitioned to new lands found and settled in as base, yet she could not shake the dawning of a change in her bones. It was the lingering of a presence that cast goosebumps along flesh, if not placed senses on high alert to remain vigilante. Nonetheless, with yet another chapter sadly coming to a close, a bloodied hand tucked that book away to pull forth another and paint pages red. It was becoming progressively worrisome that a veil had been cast over her occult precognition, yet she continued forward as a nefarious plague.||

So in this Side Quest issue, I was very much inspired by the mundane of nature and its clash with the modern world. Such an artistic scene is very popular in the video game and animation pop culture, so of course I thought, why not. To start off my fashion exhibit, some focal points are the ‘nature’ pieces I used: firstly that from an up and coming designer by the name of Iskra Bellic, owner of {INDOcile}. I was very much humbled with the opportunity to bring her creations into my world and in turn, show them all to my audience. The Mystikal Staff in Silver (shown above) is also available in Gold, and can be found on her marketplace here. While her collection is small, I personally sense a lot of potential to flood forth and for us to see lots more in the near future. I always get giddy of that aspect and hope all of you are as well. Secondly, are the head and mouth pieces from a Japanese shop by the name of *NAMINOKE, owned by Taiko McCaw. Available at the Depraved Nation: Luck Of The Irish Gacha Fair, you too can add these adorable creations to your own ensemble. Other events featured are that of [Bodify], which is where you’ll find my naughty little Gettin’ Handy Garter by the lovely Scarlett Loxingly, owner of The Scarlett Letter; there is also a new round of Suicide Dollz (a bi-weekly event) open in which you can find [geek.]‘s Got Capped Collars, available in 8 different colours. The Big Show definitely has its own audience, considering The Boobie Show and The Azz Show are now all in one glorious package. And not to forsake the men and uni-sex seeking readers, The Men’s Dept. has also re-opened its doors for the month of March with an array of discounted clothing, hair, accessories, and then some to suit everywhere from top quality creators all across the grid. Now to bring attention to one Fair that I attempted to avoid, but couldn’t and am glad I didn’t: The Skin Fair 2014! And the winner winner for me is the beautiful new Romy skin by none other than -Glam Affair-. I cannot even begin to express the beauty of this skin, with all the unique styling options with the available eye, eyebrows, lipsticks, and nose palates exclusively available at the Skin Fair. And a little treat is that -Glam Affair- has finally released beautiful Loudmouth appliers with an array of lipsticks to cater each skin tone! Ah, it is all so wonderful, but be forewarned there are 3 sims of skin designers all connected – so, with so much talent gathered in one spot, be sure to choose your look wisely! ||In the depths of dreamwalking, the zenith split as a maw with jagged teeth – only to shatter and scatter. A gaping nothing held, while the lands of Gor held its breath for what may follow after. Quite the silence before the storm, with the eruptions beams of white and blue piercing down into the Counter-Earth. The Red Witch found herself blinded, before light and flames engulfed entirety. A struggle for breath came forth, as her entirety was assaulted by tongues of fire – the burning sinking beyond flesh to gnaw upon her soul. She heard her own anguished screams ringing in ears, before the physical was ripped asunder, leaving her weightless and lost. Perhaps this was the experience of death while in slumber, such remained unknown. Until of course, she felt plucked and prodded, with a body renewed. Yet her fingers flailed out to press into viscous walls which held an odd elasticity. With nails now curling she began to tear the material asunder; tumbling forth from what she glimpsed was a pod. A horror briefly lit up mystic hues, with the idle bio-luminescence shedding light to the underground she lay in. While eyes adjusted, the Red Witch was much too rooted in shock, even as Mul crept forward to assist in her cleansing. A new generation of the Hive was to be tended to.||
So, with We Love Roleplay! in full swing, everyone has also become aware of three other events: The Chapter Four is in its 11th Edition, being a monthly shopping event that opens the 4th of every month and Oneword, which is a bi-monthly event in its first round. In regards to The Chapter Four, it consists of 4 rooms: 1) Gacha, 2) Buy 1 for 2, 3) Under 100L$, and 4) Half Price. So, if anything, you get deals and sales aplenty from a wonderful selection of designers. As for Oneword, it is new to me, and I came across it while shuffling through a couple favourite blogs. The word they’ve selected for their first round is Tragedy, with each designer having to create an item, whether clothing, accessories, or poses that translate the meaning to them. Featured is the Electra gown by none other than the lovely *{Junbug}*. For those not aware, Electra is known throughout literature as the main character of two Greek tragedies, which bear her namesake – so this dress is indeed Grecian and all the more beautiful for the vengeful story it bears.
