|| Solace came in a series of forms, but mainly that of slumber. It was within the cocoon of blanket and one’s own mind that the Red Witch drifted towards the answers she sought. A blank slate awaited her one evening, where a variety of hues rained down from the skies. At her feet was an ocean born from a pool of blue, with every idle drop of a random colour birthing a koi. Each chose to dart off in opposing directions, offering self in sacrifice to become mountains, sylvans, if not a civilization. The Red Witch stood in awe, suspended above calm waters, where the sky completed itself with mesmeric sunset. However, a familiar face was standing on the shore, marked by a wicked crown of jagged black antlers. A palpitation of heart hit her hard, while realization dawned in dark regards upon her face. With an idle shake of that red mane, she deemed the painting of this world  to be left unseen. And thus, she began anew.||

 

Just a heads up that Genre has re-opened today with the mystical sharing of ‘Fae‘. As shared in the past:

‘ Genre is a new monthly event that focuses on celebrating the different cultures within SL. With so many creators designing for these special communities, it was high time that they had an event of their own, not only bringing them and their talents to the general populace of SL, but also at a price everyone can afford. Each month a specific genre is chosen along with a theme to help inspire and unify the designers in their creations, with a price cap of 100L per item, each item being new and exclusive to the event (only for the duration of the event at which time you may release in your shop at regular price.) Starting on the 15th of every month and ending on the 12th, people will have a lil less than a month to visit the event.’ So do enjoy and partake of the lovelies while you can!

With December comes the arrival of many events, or the likes of new rounds of events that we are already well acquainted with. The Jewelry & Accessory Expo 2013 is in full swing. Collabor88 has settled into its December round with the theme and color scheme of Hibernate. And even Genre will be reveal several new lovelies for the populace of SL to enjoy with an upcoming Victorian theme, beginning on the 15th! To intertwine with the featured word, are two stores from two ladies that I adore. Jalilah of the rebranded and amazing .Enfant Terrible. is making her mark in many events that are showcased across the grid, even while we await the arrival of her in-world store. Also, is the lovely Nia/Aymee of the astute [Keystone], whose accessories add a regal flair to any ensemble. In all honesty, the beautiful creations of these women complete every outfit I wear, and perhaps if you haven’t let them into your SL wardrobe, you will now! So in the meantime, merry travels!

||With the familiar faces about her re-settled home, there came the potential of several faces rising from the dark to aid in her venture. The Red Witch was more than wary that the hills had eyes and the trees ears, so secrecy was a character trait she exercised daily. As her darling dark haired Dia had been approached behind closed doors, such was another entity whom she held close to her heart, that of the bastard Dev. She thought it wise to place trust and safekeep of her business into the hands and minds of those that already knew of her occult trade; for they did not judge or persecute. Instead they offered what they could, with minimal questions asked, and the support that reflected true friendship, and the utmost loyalty. One by one, she would have to whisper into the ears of all that called the ‘City of Thieves’ their home – and only time would tell if this was her last straw, or the stepping stone to more grandeur. She had found her home again within Myrmidon, and this time, she was going to see these lands flourish by her tending.||

As promised, I’ve decided to mesh my home sweet home in-world in with my posts. With sickness heavy on my shoulders and throat, there is much news to share all in one post. And while I hate cramming all the glorious goods, here we go. If you haven’t noticed I’ve been loving all and any .:GSpot:. clothing and/or accessories or props I can get my hands on. With Jalilah kind enough to crown me as one of her bloggers, there soon came the news of her re-branding her store to .Enfant Terrible. And you can only imagine what this all entails: a new sim, a brand new mesh store build, and a whole new line of beauties that come from this creative wonder woman. So as the transition takes place, former .:GSpot:. attire and accessories will be moved to the marketplace (or possibly discontinued) so stay tuned! Featured to suit my leather ensemble is .Enfant Terrible.‘s Harness in Black Silver that will be available at Genre, under the theme of BDSM.

I must also send thanks to my in-character mother Nia Adrastus (aymee.monk), owner and creator of [Keystone] for sharing her darling headpiece that will be part of the brand new event The Fantasy Collective.
